Spaghetti & Meatballs is NOT a traditional Italian dish - it was actually born in America! For our very first Real Italian Cooking lesson, we will learn how to make the most simple yet delicious dish in Italian cooking - pasta al pomodoro. There are many versions to making tomato sauce (al pomodoro), and we will cover the most basic version in this introductory lesson. Included will be preparing the tomato sauce and of course the proper way to cook the pasta (various types of pastas will be explained).
This recipe is simple, delicious, and only takes 30 minutes to prepare. Join me for the introductory lesson where you will learn and understand the basic dish that all Italian families share together.
